What did you do this past week?

During this past week me and my partner finished up working on Conway and Fredkin files for the Life project. I also had a couple of interviews which went pretty poorly, but it is what it is and it’ll get better in the future. Other than that it has been a really peaceful week without too much work to do.

What’s in your way?

Honestly, nothing too much. The project is coming along nicely as we are making quite a big of progress without too many bugs and errors and homework for other classes has been toned down for them most part. I’m a little bit scared about the last midterm for this class, but after studying a little I think I should be okay.

What will you do next week?

I really don’t know what I’ll be doing this next week. Other than finishing up the Life project I don’t have much other work to do. I’ll be heading back to Houston for the rest of this semester with my brother for Thanksgiving.

If you read it, what did you think of What Happens to Us Does Not Happen to Most of You?

I have not yet read it.

What was your experience of inheritance? (this question will vary, week to week)

I really haven’t had all that much experience learning about inheritance in class other than the topics we learned in CS314 and high school computer science, but I have definitely utilized structural techniques from inheritance to build projects in the past.

What made you happy this week?

I got to go to TLC Austin with my girlfriend for really cheap oysters and other seafood on Friday which was really tasty. I had around 20 oysters along with half a pound of mussels and a bowl of clam chowder which upset my stomach a little, but it was definitely worth it.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip-of-the-week is to not stuff yourself too much during Thanksgiving, it doesn’t feel so great in the morning after ;)
