What did you do this past week?

In the past week I started working on the Allocator project and reviewing for the test on Wednesday and Thursday. I spent a lot of time working on HackerRank practice problems and reviewing class notes. As for the Allocator project I was really confused about the structure of the starter code, but after taking a closer look at it, it made a lot more sense.

What’s in your way?

I’m currently swamped with work since I have 2 projects and a test all due on Monday, but I’m mostly done with both of them and I just need to take the test by Sunday midnight. My time management has been really subpar this past week and I definitely need to work on it more.

What will you do next week?

As for next week, I hope to finish up both projects on time, and hopefully take a look at the upcoming project. I will also need to finish up some assignments from other classes, but it should be a pretty calm week for the most part.

If you read it, what did you think of The Liskov Substitution Principle?

I have not read the Liskov Substitution Principle as of yet.

What was your experience of Test #1? (this question will vary, week to week)

I really enjoyed the format of Test #1 where I could actually run and test my code in real time. I had trouble on the first question because of the compile errors, but after discussing with my group it helped me understand the structure which really helped me understand the second day’s questions.

What made you happy this week?

Spending time with my girlfriend after a long week really took my mind off all of my stress.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

Exercise is a great way to destress and boost your mental health. Especially when you spend a long time being stressed about a program.
